Scholarship
CALA is proud to announce that they will be awarding a scholarship in the amount of $500.00 to a deserving student enrolled in the paralegal program at Trident Technical College or Miller- Motte Technical College. Scholarship candidates should have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and should be in his/her second semester of paralegal studies with, at least, one additional semester until graduation.
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must submit the scholarship application form along with a one to two page essay. The essay topic is "Why do I want to be a Paralegal?" The essay should include why you want to be a paralegal, what you hope to contribute to the paralegal/legal profession, and your future educational goals. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2011.
